Dressed To Kill

I’m sorry, I have to admit that I did not know who this person was until her amazing ability to accessorize caught my eye. Sasha Gradiva is her name and she just recently released her first US single entitled “Wanted.”

She was probably thinking to herself, “Hmmm… how can I get some media attention? I know, I’ll strap guns from Toys “R” Us onto my pink, gown and wear it to the Grammys! I’ll claim that art is more powerful than weapons, I’ll make an explosive statement against violence and then everyone will love me.”

Well, her plans ricocheted when she was escorted out of the ceremony for disturbing the peace. It wasn’t a complete dud though, she triggered media attention from US Weekly, Rolling Stone.com and The Hollywood Reporter, dubbing her as the “Most Wanted” singer around.

I like her gun-metal and pink combination, but I think it would have been cuter if she added some sparkly, grenade earrings. Or, she could have showed her support for the troops and made earrings out of plastic, green army men. That would have been easier and more positive, plus she could’ve picked those up at Toys “R” Us too.
